ABOUT THE ARTIST
When not whittling away the hours in my studio sorting pixels, I love to spend time with my wife and daughter. Rain or shine, inside or outside, our little girl constantly reminds us how much fun and joy there is around every corner. In turn, I plan to teach her that she will always be without limits as long as she never lets go of her wonderful imagination.
As far back as I can remember, I've been a fan of science fiction, fantasy, and horror themes and have always been inspired by those limitless expanses and bizarre realms. That, along with my great admiration for traditional realist painting, makes the imaginative realism genre an ideal vehicle for storytelling and self-expression. I enjoy the challenge of trying to make the unreal seem real, as well as the endless journey to improve my skills as an artist.
Over the years I have used pencils, paints, and computers to transpose the images dancing around in my imagination onto paper, board, and canvas. Currently I am having a lot of fun painting digitally with my touch screen and stylus.
